Dunreath

Dunreath is an educational centre for people of all ages. It provides a varied programme of informal education that fosters and develops skills, talents and values.

Dunreath was started in 1983, and was originally located in Glasgow’s West End. In 1995 moved to larger premises on the south side.

Dunreath Boys Club is for boys aged 10 to 14.

Dunreath Study Centre is open for schoolboys aged 15 to 18.

Durneath University Centre runs activities for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Dunreath Centre runs activities for adults.

Dunreath is promoted by the Netherhall Educational Association, a registered charity working for the advancement of education in the light of Christian principles and the natural law.

Among the various activities which take place at Dunreath, those of a spiritual or doctrinal nature are entrusted to Opus Dei, a personal prelature of the Catholic Church. Like so many other such centres around the world, Dunreath’s establishment was inspired by St. Josemaria Escriva, the founder of Opus Dei.
